Extend your child’s day of learning and fun with an engaging after-school program run by Otterly Curious and held at Appleseeds Preschool. Children will discover the wonders of science with exciting experiments, spark creativity with various artistic techniques, and engage in hands-on sensory exploration! This is an 8 week session that will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday beginning September 22nd, 2026. The last day of class will be November 18th. It is meant for Appleseeds Preschool students only (ages 3-5). Pick-up will be at 1:30. Please note that selecting this option means that you are opting for your child to attend on BOTH Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so the class fee is doubled, however, you will only pay the material fee once. If you would like them to only attend one day, please go back and select either Tuesday or Wednesday. Invite classmates to join in on the fun!

Our classes will typically have a theme and stations for kids to do 2-3 activities. There’s usually more focus on either process art or science experiments, but sometimes there will be a combination of both. Sensory play and read-alouds are also often involved. Classes range from 45 minutes to 1 hour. A parent or caregiver must stay with the child and supervise, as well as assist, their child.
At this time, we are only offering individual classes.
Only registered children are permitted to participate and use the provided materials. Siblings in the same age group can register for an additional spot. If unregistered siblings must be present, it is suggested that you bring something quiet to keep them occupied. We ask that you be mindful that parents are required to supervise all children that attend and your registered child will likely need your hands on assistance. Also keep in mind that when classes are indoors, space is limited.
At this time, we are not offering a sibling discount.
Preregistration, payment, and a signed waiver are required prior to the start of class.
This is not a drop off event. Children must be supervised by their parent/caregiver at all times.
Children should dress for messy, creative play. They should also be comfortable and weather appropriate for classes that take place outdoors.
Tickets are non-refundable, but with notice of 48 hours or more, we can arrange for your child to take a class at a later date. There will be no refunds for missed classes.
Our classes are designed for preschool and elementary aged children. When signing up for a particular class, the recommended age group will be stated in the class description.
